In this part of the world, i see youths with beautiful dreams and
wishes for the future but very ugly plan to bring their dreams to
reality.
Some of us go as far as saying things like"I wish i could
just have a one on one chat with my role model".
Let's take for instance, a guy that's looking forward to becoming a
Gospel artiste and his role model is Don Moen, imagine that you just
meet Don Moen in a musical concert and he's offering you a lifetime
opportunity to show him what you've got and there you are looking like
a dummy having nothing to exhibit, or you're someone that wants to
become a motivational speaker and a author of great inspirational
books,let's say John Maxwell is your role model and suddenly you find
yourself in a room with you asking you to show him what you got and
you couldn't produce any article or podcast written by you, what a
great shame and disaster!!!
The message I'm trying to pass through this article is that,
it's very good to think big and anticipate miracles to occur but while
we wait for that big show,i would implore us to take the utmost
advantage of every little show around us and use that to groom and
develop ourselves for the glorious future that awaits us.
FOR YOU TO BECOME A SUCCESSFUL LEADER, YOU MUST LEARN TO LEAD
BEFORE YOU GET A LEADERSHIP POSITION.
If you want to become a
musician, you don't have to wait until you get an opportunity to go
into the studio before you start writing songs,in the same vein
whatever it is you want to become in life, you have to start doing
those things in your own little way so that when the opportunity
comes,you would be fully prepared to SHOW THE WORLD WHAT YOU GOT.
Be informed that WHEN OPPORTUNITY COMES,IT'S TOO LATE TO START
PREPARING.
Champions are not MADE on stage,they are just DISCOVERED on
stage.
Whatever you want to become as an adult,you must start rehearsing
as a little child.
Get out of your comfort zone of mere fantacies and
start getting actively involved in the realization of your great
dreams.
Nothing happens on its own in this part of the world,
FOR
SOMETHING TO WORK,YOU MUST MAKE IT WORK.
It's time to move from mere imagination into real
manifestation, move from thinking into doing and from dream into
vision and make sure you turn that vision into your mission statement,
make it the driving force of your life.
Let me ask you one more time, HOW PREPARED ARE YOU FOR THAT BIG SHOW???
