The book of 2 Cor 5:17 made us understand that "When a man is in Christ he is a new creature old things are passed away, behold "ALL" things have become new.
After a very deep thought yesterday's evening, I was trying to compare my present life with my past life and the understanding of that scripture became life in my spirit.
I believe we all remember how Saul (Paul) that was once persecuting the people of God became a very strong tool in the hand of God.
I've discovered that when a man is truly in Christ, old things have no choice than to pass away, even without the knowledge of that man, either consciously or unconsciously that man will begin to pursue new things, all things about that man begins to come alive.
The fact is that when you meet Christ, so many things will change deep inside of you, God begins to give you new dreams, vision and purpose for your life, you begin to hate things you once liked and you start enjoying some spiritual things that used to be boring to you. The sweetest thing that can happen to any man is to meet Christ because when you really meet Christ, He will surely meet all your needs too. By the grace of God I have met and tasted Christ that is why I can talk about him and with my little years of walking with God, I can boldly say that
"INDEED WHEN A MAN IS IN CHRIST,HE IS A NEW CREATURE".
Someway, somehow there is this internal strength and passion for the things of God, so strong that it is beyond explanation, I just look back at my life and discover that all of a sudden God has totally took some things out of my life, things I once enjoyed now appears like a poison to me and God also gave me an internal drive for new things, He gave me a new dream to pursue, new purpose to walk with and each day I wake up the dream gets bigger and future is becoming brighter, He gave me new projects to spend my money on and by His grace I can boldly say that I am living a fulfilled life and whenever I envisage the future He is taking me to, all I can say is " THANK YOU JESUS",
There is this joy that lightens my spirit man and now am experiencing that scripture that talks about " The peace of God that passeth all human understanding".
To cut the long story short, all I can/will recommend for anyone that really desires to make something meaningful out of his life is to GET JESUS and to those that feel they already have Him, I would love to challenge us to get serious with Him, this is a call to go higher in the things of God, there are great things that God wants to show you but you will never see them until you go up higher to meet Him.
In conclusion, to you my present reader, I see God giving you a new heart, a new purpose and fresh passion for the things of God, I see God giving your life a new meaning, I see Him taking you higher, I see you living above sin and every vices of the enemy, I see you touching lives and fulfilling purpose, I can see you at the top and lastly I see you get to Heaven at last.
