Episode 9: The Chronicles of Brother Shabalala and Sister Shukusheka

"Man  of God, please let's postpone this discussion until JohnBosco is back from his retreat"

The words of Sister Shukusheka kept ringing in the head of Brother Shabalala, he felt hurt that at this stage of their of friendship.

 He expected her to have gotten all the clarity she needed, so she won't be distracted by anyone. 

He also wasn't happy with the fact that Sister Shukusheka looks like someone who just wants to be with the man with the most promising future, and ministry. He knew quite well that she wouldn't have allowed him to wait for a JohnBosco to be back from his retreat, if not for the revelation Sister Wobia shared about JohnBosco.

 So, brother Shabalala just muttered few words of prayers in his heart, asking God to minister clarity to Sister Shukusheka. 

JohnBosco started his retreat as he informed them, and he kept digging deep into God, praying and studying. 

While at it, God was giving him some words of direction about his future, and the one that stood out for him was a  phrase he heard clearly in his spirit,  "While waiting, do what waiters do; SERVE".

 God was trying to tell JohnBosco not to be distracted by the big dreams and revelations people are sharing with him to the extent of missing what he should be doing right now. He got a new burden to be an evangelist, starting from his immediate environment. All the three ladies kept sending him scriptures, and motivational messages, just to give thier moral support, Sister Shukusheka and Wobia went further to dial his number, but he didn't pick any calls.

He also mentioned the dream about future partner to God, asking for clarity about which of the three ladies God would have him do business with, and God told him expressly to get busy working for the Kingdom, before praying for kingdom partner. He heard God saying, " If you don't know where you're going, why do you need a partner?

Immediately, he got the message, and knew that it wasn't time for him to be thinking of relationships. 

Sister Shukusheka started a conversation on the WhatsApp group chat of herself and the two other ladies, she started by checking on them, and went ahead to type that "JohnBosco would have gotten many revelations from God by now. He would have known who his future partner is. "

Wobia commented "Hmmmmmm ", and Wonbiliki asked a question, " Why are you so concerned about what God is telling another man, have you finished hearing God for yourself. I think we also should be more concerned about our ministry to God and His kingdom, instead of waiting to just be a beneficiary of another man's ministry. Let's focus on our individual growth abeg ".

The statement of Wonbiliki got the other ladies thinking, and they agreed to meet at the house of Brother Shabalala just to say Hi to him. 

When they got to his house, they met him studying the word, and he gave them a warm reception. 

Wobia mentioned that she could perceive a very nice aroma from the kitchen, and brother Shabalala confirmed that he is actually cooking Oha Soup, and he has plans to make semolina too. The ladies were impressed with the fact that brother Shabalala is not only spiritual, but also knows how to cook.

They offered to help him in the kitchen, but he refused. He told them to sit back and relax, while he get the food ready. He kept going to the kitchen to check what he was cooking, and after a while, he invited them to the dining table.

 Aside the fact that the food had a very great taste, the ladies were attracted by the way Brother Shabalala arranged his house neatly, the dining was very neat, and Brother Shabalala kept asking if they were enjoying the meal, of which they responded in the affirmative. While eating, Sister Shukusheka coughed twice, and brother Shabalala kept saying "Sorry, are you fine now, take water, do this, do that", it was a beautiful sight to behold, and the other ladies felt really jealous also happy for Sister Shukusheka. 

After the meal, Brother Shabalala thanked them for coming to check on him, and he mentioned that he has sent text messages to check up on JohnBosco, he also encouraged the ladies to be praying for one another, so that no one is left  behind in God and destiny. 

He brought out his phone to book Bolt for them, and went  to his Fridge to pack soft drinks and fruits for them.

They really felt great about his reception, and he was the center of their discussion as they enjoyed the Bolt ride.

If Brother Shabalala should just mistakenly show me care ehn, I'll take him to my parents immediately,  Sister Wobia commented. 

Ahhhhhh, what kind of statement is that, Sister Wonbiliki spoke angrily. 

Wobia replied by saying that she can't imagine why someone would have the privilege of being loved by such a perfect gentleman, and would still be confused. 

This life is not balanced at all. 

Sister Shukusheka kept saying, "Hmmmmmm hmmmmm hmmmmm, God will help us".

God has helped you already, if you don't want, please let me know on time o, Wobia replied.

Wonbiliki took over the conversation, and calmed the atmosphere. They apologized to each other, as each person alighted at their respective destinations. 

Sister Shukusheka got home, and lost her sleep, she cried until she went on her knees in prayers, "God, please help me, show me what I need to know. Help me Lord"
